Significantly enhance your Audi A3 8Y with the original rear view camera.
Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera in your AUDI A3 8Y.
+ Optical display of the live image on the screen as well as the active (= dynamic) and moving auxiliary lines when steering
+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear or by pressing the parking aid button (if installed)
After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.
No further activations or even a visit to your AUDI/VW partner's workshop are necessary; the KECODI completes the full activation of the rear view camera in just a few seconds.

Product attributes:
- Retrofitting the original rear view camera is possible on ALL AUDI A3 / S3 / RS3 8Y GY Sportback and sedan models of all years with one of the following installed multimedia systems:
- MMI Navigation plus / High (= PR number: 7UG)
- MMI with navigation preparation (= PR number: 7UZ)
- Suitable for all AUDI A3 8Y models with all parking aid systems such as: rear parking aid (PR no.: 7X1) or park steering assistant (PR no.: 7X5) as well as suitable for your AUDI without parking aid (PR no.: 7X0).
- The wiping function on the tailgate (= the rear wiper) is installed as standard on all AUDI A3 GY Sportback models - on models with a rear view camera, the rear view camera is also cleaned here! We supply the complete retrofit package here - using the original T-connector included in the scope of delivery, the existing water hose is adapted to the camera as installed at the factory.
- Thus, the camera eye is "cleaned" by a water jet when the wiping function of the rear wiper is activated.
- The display is dynamic - i.e. active - with auxiliary lines/auxiliary fields, thus 100% with ALL functions as installed at the factory.
