Upgrade your AUDI A4 B9 8W with the original ambient lighting in the outside door handles.
Simply retrofit this part of the lighting package into your AUDI A4 B9 8W yourself.
When you unlock your AUDI A4 B9 8W at night, the white LEDs in the outer door handles light up.
Scope of delivery:
- - 1x Original AUDI A4 B9 8W LED light door handle (depending on selection)
- - 1x pre-assembled cable set
- - 1x installation instructions (German)
Installation time: approx. 1 hour per door

Product attributes:
The retrofitting of the original external door handle lighting is possible on all AUDI A4 / S4 / RS4 B9 8W models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift), all body styles (Avant, Sedan, allroad) and all equipment variants (with or without keyless entry, etc.).
The cable set connects the LED of the door handle to the door control unit which is located inside each door.
To convert all four doors you need this retrofit package four times (4x).
Decide for yourself whether you want to upgrade only one door (e.g. driver only) or several doors (e.g. driver + passenger and rear left).
The external painted door handle is always identical. The currently installed "blind cap" is replaced with the original white LED supplied here.
Product compatibility:
The vehicle manufacturer installs three different door control units (Lowline, Midline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.
To determine this, you can first read the door control units with a tester (e.g. KECODI, VCDS, ODIS) to determine the part number - generally:
Part number structure: XX0-959-?9X (index letter such as A, E, H, etc.)
Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.
? = 3 = NOT capable - the door control unit must be replaced.
? = 5 = Outside door handle lighting is possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the lighting package.
? = 7 = Outside door handle lighting is possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the lighting package.
If it is necessary to replace a door control unit, this can be ordered under article number: 16500.
