Significantly upgrade your AUDI A5 8T 8F with an AUX-IN input.
Here we provide you with the complete package for the easy installation of the original AUX-IN input in your AUDI A5 8T 8F with built-in MMI navigation system.
This allows you to connect your AUX sources such as an iPod, iPhone, mp3 player, cell phone, laptop, etc.
The new menu item "AUX" can then be selected in your MMI - the sound is output via the vehicle speakers.
Scope of delivery:
- - 1x Original AUDI A5 8T 8F AUX-IN installation socket
- - 1x pre-assembled cable set
- - 1x connection cable for jack plug (can be ordered optionally)

Product attributes:
The retrofitting of the AUX-IN connection (= "jack plug") is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8T 8F models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift or facelift) with installed MMI3G/3G+ multimedia system (PR number: 7T2 or 7T6).
NOT suitable for the older MMI2G navigation system (= PR-7Q2 / 6-CD changer in the center console).
NOT suitable for radio systems without navigation function (e.g. Radio Concert / Symphony) - for these you need the article number: 16549
Installation is possible for models WITH or WITHOUT built-in AMI multimedia interface (= interface for USB/iPhone etc. in the glove compartment).
The supplied original AUX-IN socket has a standardized 3.5 mm jack connection (for all common AUX jack plugs / cell phones, etc.).
The installation socket is mounted, for example, in the area of the center armrest - for this purpose, a recess is made in the desired location of the panel (e.g. cut out with a cutter knife) and the installation socket is clipped in.
Alternatively, you can also install the connection in the glove compartment - the AUX-IN connection is even easier to install here.
Dimensions of the original AUDI AUX-IN socket: 27 x 27mm
The optional connection cable with jack plug is required to connect a terminal device (e.g. mobile phone) and can be ordered optionally.

Alternatively, we can always offer you the original AMI (= Audi music interface) for your AUDI A5 8T 8F under article number: 16550.
This also allows the connection of USB / Bluetooth / mobile phone / iPhone adapters.
