Significantly enhance your AUDI A5 8T 8F with the useful FIS - Driver Information System.
Here we supply you with all the necessary original parts for easy self-installation of the useful driver information system FIS.
This means that the right wiper lever is finally assigned to the buttons of your AUDI's on-board computer - you can use these rocker switches to switch the FIS display in the instrument cluster / speedometer.
Scope of delivery:
- - 1x original AUDI A5 8T 8F steering column switch with additional FIS function (depending on chassis number)
- - 1x installation instructions (German)
Installation time: approx. 1 hour

Product attributes:
The retrofitting of the original driver information system / FIS / on-board computer is possible on all AUDI A5 8T 8F models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift + facelift), all body styles and all equipment variants.
If your AUDI has NO buttons / rocker switches for the on-board computer on the right wiper lever, then there is currently no FIS / driver information system / on-board computer installed.
This means that a display of average speed / average consumption / current consumption / distance travelled etc. can be easily accessed at any time on 2 levels (continuous counter and trip counter).
The currently installed speedometer / instrument cluster remains completely untouched and will not be replaced as it is already suitable for the driver information system.
After the retrofit, all important additional information is finally shown in the middle display.
With this retrofit, the steering column switch is simply replaced 1:1 with a steering column switch with FIS function - no wiring is necessary.
The red/monochrome middle display will of course remain red/monochrome.
The colored middle display will of course remain colored.
Finally, you will also receive the new CAR menu item "Instrument cluster / on-board computer" in your multimedia system.
No cable laying / wiring work etc. is necessary.
