Significantly enhance your AUDI A5 F5 Coupé or Cabriolet with the original ambient lighting in the door.

With this retrofit package, the white LED light bar in the door of your AUDI A5 F5 Coupé or Cabriolet can be easily retrofitted.

Your AUDI A5 shines with a "new" splendor, especially at night.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x original AUDI A5 F5 light guide (depending on door)
• - 1x original AUDI A5 F5 LED light white (depending on door)
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x illustrated installation instructions (German)

The retrofitting of the original white LED ambient lighting of the doors is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 Coupé or Cabriolet models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) with already installed or retrofitted LED footwell lighting (see article no.: 16611) or already installed LED center console lighting (see article no.: 16616) or already installed LED cup holder (see article no.: 16617).

The prerequisite is that at least one of these three LED features of the lighting package is already installed or retrofitted so that the LED ambient lighting of the door can function.

For your AUDI A5 F5 Sportback model you need the LED ambient lighting for doors retrofit package with article number: 16615

With this retrofit, the currently installed, non-illuminated plastic element is replaced with the original AUDI A5 LED light guide including LED and connected to the door control unit (this is located inside the door).

No changes (fitting / cutting away / gluing etc.) to the door panel are necessary (the light guide is simply inserted as installed at the factory).

You can then adjust/dim the brightness in your MMI multimedia system in the new menu item “Ambient lighting”.

Of course, as in the factory, the ambient lighting also lights up while driving, depending on the setting in the MMI.

The installation instructions include coding instructions with which you can activate the retrofit with a diagnostic system/tester (e.g. ODIS, VCDS). However, if you do not have your own diagnostic system, we can offer you the KECODI coding interface under item number: 10679, which will activate this automatically and in the shortest possible time.
