Description
Simply switch off the automatic start-stop function of your AUDI Q5 8R.
After plugging in this module, the electronics automatically remember the last setting of the start-stop system (either ON or OFF) when you start your vehicle and automatically switches the vehicle back to this mode.
If you switch OFF once, the automatic start-stop function will remain OFF until you switch it on again.
See for yourself how convenient this is for deactivating the start-stop system.

Installation time: approx. 30 minutes
Product attributes:
Suitable for all AUDI Q5 / SQ5 8R models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift), all engines and all equipment variants.
Suitable for all models with start-stop button in the button bar (see image) on the MMI or behind the gearshift lever (Radio Concert / Concert / Symphony) - see product image.
NOT suitable for pre-facelift models (= up to model year 2012) with start-stop button in the coin compartment.
In contrast to complete deactivation (as some providers offer), this electronic system also offers the possibility of resetting the system to its factory settings.

Installation information:
For models with MMI navigation system: Pull out the button panel using 2 release levers (= AUDI/VW standard tool "radio release lever").
For models with a built-in radio without navigation (Chorus, Concert, Symphony): Lift the panel around the gear lever upwards to access the button panel - you do not need a release bracket.
Then swap the PINs according to the illustrated installation instructions.
Insert the connectors of the additional module supplied.
