Description
Flap control CB2 for controlling the exhaust flaps via the Drive Select with additional SSA and misfire memory function
Compatible models:
- Audi RS3 8V
- Audi RS3 8V facelift
With this control unit you have the option to control your exhaust flaps via the Drive Select and the ESP button.
Functions at a glance:
- Drive Select (Individual: Engine Sound):
- Dynamic: flaps permanently open
- Auto: Open from 3000rpm / 80% accelerator (just before kickdown)
- Comfort: Open from 4500 rpm / 80% accelerator (shortly before kickdown)
Easy Switch (double click ESP):
- By double-clicking the ESP button, the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the Drive Select. The automatic opening at 4500rpm is always maintained.
Series mode / workshop mode:
- Hold down the SSA button for 7 seconds and the module will be deactivated. Everything behaves as if no module was installed. As feedback for successful activation or deactivation, the SSA lamp switches automatically.
Gearbox S-detection:
- As soon as you set the transmission to S, both flaps open. (Function only available with original transmission coding)
SSA memory:
- The setting of the automatic start-stop system is saved and restored after the vehicle is started.
Misfire Memory:
- The misfire remains in Dynamic (Individual: Engine/Gearbox) even after the engine has started. No more annoying gear shifting necessary.
- Does NOT apply to the RS3 8V facelift with OPF. The Misfire was no longer programmed by Audi at the factory. Therefore, there can be no functioning Misfire memory function.
