With the RX1 exhaust flap control system , you take full control of your BMW's sound. The system allows manual control of the exhaust flaps via a high-quality remote control – independent of Drive Select or driving mode. This lets you decide when your vehicle should sound subtle or sporty.

Start mode
The start mode determines the system's active state when the ignition is switched on. By default, the last selected mode is saved, but it can be individually programmed if desired. A simple key combination on the remote control is all it takes – the device automatically confirms the programming by opening and closing the flaps five times.
Assembly
Installation is quick and easy thanks to plug-and-play functionality . Vehicle-specific connectors mean no modifications to the factory wiring are necessary. We recommend installation in the trunk – optimal reception, protected location, and sufficient cable length.
