Air duct inlet:

To transport air to the outlet of the brake ventilation, a suitable inlet is essential. The G80/82 M3/M4 (as well as the Competition) already have inlet ducts in the front bumper ex works, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. To prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch, we have developed an inlet duct that can be installed with minimal effort and connects the air to the outlet via a hose around the wheel. No mounting tools are required for installation. It is installed in exchange for the original duct connection. The duct is based on the OEM duct and thus uses exactly the same connection points, making it 100% reversible without leaving any residue.

Air duct outlet:

For many vehicles, brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, even off the racetrack. This not only improves braking performance but also drastically reduces the wear of the friction partners. Our anchor plate uses the channeling of the airflow to the center of the brake disc to utilize the turbine effect for cooling the disc from the inside. We specifically direct the airflow to the disc at a defined angle to avoid scattering losses and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible. Thanks to its lightweight construction combined with powder-coated aluminum, the anchor plate is sufficiently strong, yet light and insensitive. In addition, the bearings closest to the brake disc are shielded from heat to increase their lifespan (if necessary).

The different models vary slightly in wheel position, coupled with different chassis geometries and wheel and tire combinations, making it impossible for us to cover all variants. In the worst case, the wheel might rub slightly at full steering lock (which should only happen when parking), which cannot cause any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to refrain from using the last ¼ of the steering turns.
