Most vehicles only have rudimentary cooling on the front axle and usually no cooling at all on the rear axle. Porsche, among others, has recognized that brake cooling is essential for the performance, durability, and lifespan of the brakes and their components.
The geometry of the components is designed to fit the wishbone of the BMW M2, M3, and M4 of the G series and can be installed Plug/Play with cable ties and without a lift or removing the wheels. The inlets are designed to be flat so that they do not represent the lowest point of the vehicle and redirect the airflow under the vehicle, directing it specifically to the center of the rotating wheel.
The components are made of PA12 plastic and already contain slots for fastening. The continuous tapering between the inlet and the outlet leads to an acceleration of the airflow at a constant volume and thus to a targeted discharge of air.
What about the rear axle?
It is not possible to cover every vehicle and every axle with a tailor-made solution, which is why we have developed universal cooling and intensively tested it on various vehicles over several months.
A difference of up to 50°C in peak over the measuring tape can be observed here. However, if holes are drilled in the backing plate or it is removed, maximum performance with a delta of up to 200°C is achieved.
