Most vehicles only have hinted cooling on the front axle and usually no cooling on the rear axle. Porsche, among others, has recognized that brake cooling is essential for the performance, durability, and lifespan of the brake and its components.
The geometry of the components is designed to fit the control arm of the BMW M2, M3, and M4 of the G series and can be installed Plug/Play with cable ties and without a lift or removing the wheels. The inlets are designed flat so that they do not represent the lowest point of the vehicle and redirect the airflow under the vehicle, directing it specifically to the center of the rotating wheel.
The components are made of PA12 plastic and already contain slots for fastening. The continuous tapering between the inlet and outlet leads to an acceleration of the airflow with constant volume and thus to a targeted outflow of air.
What about the rear axle?
It is not possible to cover every vehicle and every axle with a tailor-made solution, and therefore we have developed universal cooling and intensively tested it on various vehicles over months.
A difference of sometimes 50°C at the peak over the measuring tape can be seen here. However, if you drill holes in the backing plate or remove it, you have maximum performance with a delta of up to 200°C.
