Description
LEIB CAN EXHAUST BASIC - for easy control.
Plug & Play installation in around 30 minutes without cutting or soldering. Installation is possible without any prior knowledge thanks to the illustrated installation instructions available online. Alternatively, we recommend installation by a specialist workshop or one of our dealers. Automotive plug connections ensure full functionality. The LEIB CAN BUS module ensures the highest standards in the vehicle's BUS system thanks to its E1 approval and CE marking.
Main functions:
EXHAUST FLAP CONTROL | Adjustable in the modes: Open - Series - Closed
START STOP OFF | The engine start stop function can be deactivated (can be set in the menu)
Additional functions:
The LEIB CAN EXHAUST modules can be operated together with the optionally available LEIB CAN BOOST module (boost pressure indicator)
User information:
EXHAUST FLAP CONTROL | Control via rocker switch on the multifunction steering wheel
RES button on the multifunction steering wheel pressed briefly, saves the current flap mode for the next engine start
Optical confirmation of the selected flap mode by indicator control - only in the instrument cluster (not visible from the outside)
All functions can be set in the menu (instrument cluster) if required (please download the functional description online)
Important information:
NO error messages are generated by using the LEIB CAN EXHAUST module
The LEIB CAN EXHAUST module is automatically DEACTIVATED when a BMW tester is connected to the vehicle
To prevent double function, the exhaust flap control functions can only be operated when the cruise control and the limit function are off
