Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera in your MAN TGE
When you engage reverse gear, the live image from the rear view camera automatically appears in your multimedia system.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you.

Retrofitting the original rear view camera is possible on all MAN TGE models of all model years and all wheelbases with one of the following installed multimedia systems:
Navigation Standard (= PR number: 7UF)
Discover / Composition Media (= PR number: I8E)
Option infotainment (= PR number: 8AR)
Entry-level infotainment / Radio Entry (= PR number: I8I) in combination with digital radio reception (= PR number: QV3)
NOT suitable for other multimedia systems.
Suitable for all currently installed parking aid systems such as: without parking aid PR number: 7X0, parking aid front + rear PR number 7X2, parking steering assistant PR number PR: 8A6, 8A8, 9X0, 9X1, 9X2, 9X3.
This retrofit package is also suitable for your MAN TGE with a trailer manoeuvring assistant installed (= PR number 8A8). In this case, the camera installed in the left side door, which is solely responsible for the manoeuvring function, continues to work normally. The roof camera supplied here is the factory-installed solution. We always recommend this due to the size of the vehicle, as this is the only way to get a flawless reversing view from above.
This reversing camera retrofit package is also suitable for MAN TGE models with preparation for a reversing camera (= PR number: KA8).
Of course, as installed at the factory, there is an automatic switchover when reverse gear is engaged - in addition, the static guide lines / guide fields are displayed in your infotainment system.
Installation information:
Since the MAN TGE is very easily accessible, installation is very simple. The following installation steps are necessary:
Unscrew the brake light at the top and replace it 1:1 with the original parts supplied.
Connect the cable set to the new brake light with integrated rear view camera.
Route the cable harness along the right side of the vehicle.
Connection of the power supply and the reversing signal to the existing connector of the right rear light.
The additional cable set is now routed along the existing cable sets to the front of the easily accessible driver's cab and connected to the multimedia system in the glove compartment.
