With the multi-map technology developed by DTE Systems, up to nine channels are optimized in real time - whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass: PowerControl perfectly controls the most technologically sophisticated engines of the latest generations in a multi-dimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters. And this is dependent on up to three driver-selectable programs, each with 7 power levels. PowerControl X works approx. 4x faster and 5x more precisely than its predecessors.

App Control with Warm-Up Timer
The smart tuning of the next generation
In addition to the keypad, the DTE performance upgrade PowerControl X can now also be operated from the cockpit. The following functions are included:

• On/off function of the tuning box via smartphone
• Changing programs Sport, Dynamic, Efficiency
• With configurable warm-up timer, where the driver determines when the DTE tuning takes effect
• Once set, the performance upgrade also works without an existing smartphone connection

DTE Systems gives you the freedom to choose
With the new performance upgrade, you have the option to choose between three different and fully customizable driving programs: Sport, Dynamic, and Efficiency.

Note: The Efficiency program is only available with PowerControl X.

• Sport
  In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a responsive driving experience.
• Dynamic
  The Dynamic mode is a true all-rounder and balanced for long-distance driving. The vehicle responds more dynamically for more agility in every speed range.
• Efficiency (PowerControl X only)
  The Efficiency mode optimizes the engine's efficiency and thus supports fuel-efficient driving for fuel savings of up to 15%.

The innovative sports instruments exclusively for the new PowerControl app provide a complete overview of the vehicle's performance.

The Sports Instruments Highlights:

• Display of turbo and boost pressure as well as RPM

Reprogramming when changing vehicles
Your performance upgrade simply to take with you
A DTE performance upgrade can be installed in just a few steps. Reversion to series condition is also possible at any time. Thus, the performance upgrade can be reinstalled in your next vehicle when changing vehicles.

Reprogramming to the new vehicle is free 2x (PowerControl X), provided that the new vehicle is an equivalent engine type. If you switch to a different engine type, additional hardware adaptation may be necessary.

Efficiency mode for even more fuel savings
Save up to 15% fuel
The DTE performance upgrade PowerControl X has a switchable Efficiency mode. With this Eco program, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%. This means the tuning quickly pays for itself. The main savings potential lies in the optimized torque. This is because the full power is available even at low RPMs. This allows gears to be changed earlier, and driving in a lower gear saves fuel.
