Maps for every performance level
With DTE Systems' multi-map technology, up to nine channels are optimized in real-time - whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass: PowerControl perfectly controls the technologically most demanding engines of the latest generations in a multi-dimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters. And this is dependent on up to three driver-selectable programs, each with 7 power levels. PowerControl X works approximately 4 times faster and 5 times more precisely than its predecessors.

The smart tuning of the next generation
In addition to the keypad, the DTE PowerControl X performance upgrade can now also be operated from the cockpit. The following functions are included, among others:

• Switching the tuning box on and off via smartphone
• Switching between Sport, Dynamic, and Efficiency programs
• With a configurable warm-up timer, where the driver decides when the DTE tuning takes effect
• Once set, the performance upgrade also works without an existing smartphone connection

DTE Systems gives you the freedom to choose
With the new performance upgrade, you have the option to choose between three different and fully customizable driving programs: Sport, Dynamic, and Efficiency.

Note: The Efficiency program is only available with PowerControl X.

• Sport
  In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The vehicle responds more directly for a responsive driving experience.
• Dynamic
  The Dynamic mode is a true all-rounder and balanced for long-distance driving. The vehicle responds more dynamically for greater agility at all RPMs.
• Efficiency (PowerControl X only)
  The Efficiency mode optimizes engine efficiency and thus supports fuel-efficient driving for fuel consumption savings of up to 15%.

Sport Instruments
Always keep an eye on full performance
The innovative Sport Instruments, exclusive to the new PowerControl app, provide a complete overview of the vehicle's performance.

The Sport Instruments highlights:

• Display of turbo and boost pressure as well as RPM
• Accelerometer displaying lateral and longitudinal acceleration
• Display of the current driving program and the ability to change it

Reprogramming when changing vehicles
Take your performance upgrade with you
A DTE performance upgrade can be installed in just a few simple steps. Reverting to the series state is also possible at any time. This means that the performance upgrade can be reused in your next vehicle when you change vehicles.

Reprogramming to the new vehicle is free 2 times (PowerControl X), provided that the new vehicle is an equivalent engine type. If you switch to a different engine type, an additional hardware adaptation may be necessary.

Efficiency mode for even more fuel savings
Save up to 15% fuel
The DTE PowerControl X performance upgrade features a switchable Efficiency mode. With this eco-program, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%. This way, the tuning quickly pays for itself. The main savings potential lies in the optimized torque. Because full power is already available at low RPMs. This allows gears to be shifted earlier, and driving in a lower gear saves fuel.

With TÜV parts certificate for tested and certified additional performance
More performance with certainty
For more than 4,000 models and vehicle types, a model-specific TÜV parts certificate is included in the scope of delivery. This allows the necessary modification approval to be carried out easily at any inspection center. This approval takes only a few minutes and is carried out, for example, by TÜV, DEKRA or a KÜS expert.
