The multi-map technology developed by DTE Systems optimizes up to nine channels in real time - whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass: PowerControl perfectly controls the most technologically sophisticated engines of the latest generations in a multi-dimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters. And it does this in up to three programs that can be selected by the driver, each with 7 power levels. PowerControl X works around 4x faster and 5x more precisely than its predecessors.

In addition to the keypad, the DTE performance enhancement PowerControl X can now also be operated from the cockpit. The following functions are included:

With the new performance upgrade, you have the option to choose between three different and fully customizable driving programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.

Note: The Efficiency program is only available with PowerControl X.

  In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a responsive driving experience.
• Dynamic
  The Dynamic mode is a real all-rounder and balanced for long-distance driving. The vehicle responds more dynamically for more agility in every speed range.
• Efficiency (PowerControl X only)
  The Efficiency mode optimizes the efficiency of the engine and thus supports a consumption-optimized driving style for fuel savings of up to 15%.

Your performance improvement to take with you
A DTE performance upgrade can be installed in just a few simple steps. It is also possible to revert to the standard state at any time. This means that the performance upgrade can be used again in your next vehicle if you change vehicles.

Reprogramming to the new vehicle is free twice (PowerControl X), provided the new vehicle has an equivalent engine type. If you switch to a different engine type, additional hardware adjustment may be necessary.

Efficiency mode for even more fuel savings
Save up to 15% fuel
The DTE performance upgrade PowerControl X has a switchable Efficiency mode. With this eco program, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%. This means that the tuning quickly pays for itself. The main saving potential lies in the optimized torque. This is because the full power is available even at low engine speeds. This means that gears can be changed earlier and driving in a low gear saves fuel.

With TÜV parts certificate for tested and certified additional performance

A model-specific TÜV parts certificate is included in the delivery for more than 4,000 models and vehicle types. This means that the required change approval can be carried out easily at any inspection station. This approval only takes a few minutes and is carried out by the TÜV, DEKRA or a KÜS expert, for example.
