Maps for every performance level
With the multi-map technology developed by DTE Systems, up to nine channels are optimized in real time - whether common rail or boost pressure, turbo pressure, intake manifold pressure or air mass: PowerControl perfectly controls the technologically demanding engines of the latest generations in a multidimensional multi-map with all relevant engine parameters. And this is dependent on up to three programs selectable by the driver, each with 7 performance levels. PowerControl X works approximately 4 times faster and 5 times more precisely than its predecessors.

The smart tuning of the next generation
In addition to the keypad, the DTE power increase PowerControl X can now also be operated from the cockpit. The following functions are included, among others:

• On and off function of the tuning box via smartphone
• Changing the Sport, Dynamic, Efficiency programs
• With configurable warm-up timer, where the driver decides when the DTE tuning should start
• Once set, the performance increase also works without an existing smartphone connection

With the new performance increase, you have the option to choose between three different and fully customizable driving programs: Sport, Dynamic and Efficiency.

Note: The Efficiency program is only available with PowerControl X.

• Sport
  In Sport mode, all engine parameters are tuned for maximum performance. The vehicle reacts more directly for a responsive driving experience.
• Dynamic
  Dynamic mode is a true all-rounder and balanced for long-distance driving. The vehicle responds more dynamically for more agility in every speed range.
• Efficiency (PowerControl X only)
  Efficiency mode optimizes engine efficiency, supporting fuel-efficient driving for savings in fuel consumption of up to 15%.

Sport Instruments
Always keeping an eye on full performance
The innovative Sport Instruments, exclusive to the new PowerControl app, provide a complete overview of the vehicle's performance.

The Sport Instruments Highlights:

• Display of turbo and boost pressure as well as RPM
• Accelerometer that displays lateral and longitudinal acceleration
• Display of the current driving program and the possibility to change it

Reprogramming when changing vehicles
Take your performance upgrade with you
A DTE performance upgrade can be installed in just a few steps. Reversion to series condition is also possible at any time. This way, the performance upgrade can be reused in your next vehicle when you change vehicles.

Reprogramming to the new vehicle is free 2 times (PowerControl X), provided the new vehicle is an equivalent engine type. If you switch to a different engine type, additional hardware adaptation may be necessary.

Efficiency mode for even more fuel savings
Save up to 15% fuel
The DTE PowerControl X performance upgrade has a switchable Efficiency mode. With this Eco program, fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 15%. This way, the tuning quickly pays for itself. The main savings potential lies in the optimized torque. This is because the full power is available even at low speeds. This allows gears to be changed earlier and driving in a low gear saves fuel.

With TÜV parts certificate for tested and certified additional performance
More performance with certainty
For more than 4,000 models and vehicle types, a model-specific TÜV parts certificate is included in the scope of delivery. This allows the necessary modification acceptance to be carried out easily at any testing center. This acceptance takes only a few minutes and is carried out, for example, by TÜV, DEKRA or a KÜS expert.
