The ST suspensions sport springs, manufactured in OEM quality from chrome-silicon steel using the cold-winding process, are multi-tempered and have a final epoxy coating. This allows them to withstand the most diverse weather conditions. Depending on the vehicle model, ST suspensions sport springs can achieve subtle lowerings of, for example, 20 mm at the front and 15 mm at the drive axle on the current BMW M3 (E9x series), an appealing 30 mm on both axles on the Audi A1, or up to 60 mm on the VW Golf I. When installing ST suspensions sport springs, not only does the body's center of gravity lower compared to the series suspension, but driving dynamics also benefit. During strong steering movements, such as evasive maneuvers and fast cornering, body movements are reduced due to the lower roll tendency. Furthermore, compression and rebound are reduced, making handling more agile.
