ST sport springs

The wide range of springs from ST suspensions, with over 1,000 applications, is one of the few lowering springs on the market that, in combination with the standard chassis, improves the handling of a vehicle. In addition to an attractive lowering, the ST suspensions sport springs enable an increase in cornering speed and dynamic driving.

Classy optics for every car

The ST suspensions sport springs, manufactured in original equipment manufacturer quality from chrome-silicon steel using a cold-wrapping process, are multi-tempered and have a final epoxy coating. This means they can withstand a wide range of weather conditions. Depending on the vehicle model, the ST suspensions sport springs can be used to achieve subtle lowering of, for example, 20 mm at the front and 15 mm on the drive axle in the current BMW M3 (E9x series), an attractive 30 mm on both axles in the Audi A1 or up to 60 mm in the VW Golf I. When installing ST suspensions sport springs, not only is the body's center of gravity lowered compared to the standard chassis, but the driving dynamics also benefit. During strong steering movements, such as during evasive maneuvers and fast cornering, the bodywork movements are reduced due to the lower roll tendency. In addition, the compression and rebound are reduced, making the driving behavior more agile.

The ideal spring rate for every lowering

The spring rates of the ST suspensions sport springs harmonize perfectly with the tuning of the standard dampers. Ultimately, the ST suspensions sport springs, in conjunction with the respective vehicle weight, the wheel loads and the level of the intended lowering, have a major influence on the compression and rebound behavior of the standard chassis. The ST suspensions sport springs, made of chrome-silicon steel, not only bear the vehicle weight, but also guarantee more direct driving pleasure thanks to the specially tuned spring rates. Depending on the level of lowering, for example if the center of gravity is reduced by 20 mm, 30 mm or 40 mm, the ST suspensions sport springs have different spring rates that harmonize with the standard dampers. The greater the level of lowering, the higher the spring rate.

Great variety, not only for tuning enthusiasts

The sport springs from ST suspensions are not only available for current vehicles and new cars such as the Audi A7 Sportback or Mercedes-Benz E-Class and others. Fans of timeless models such as the BMW E30 or VW Golf I will also find the ideal sport springs in the ST suspensions product range. The tested ST suspensions sport springs are even available for unusual vehicles. The range of sport springs currently includes around 1,000 applications for 30 different car brands from Alfa Romeo to Volvo.
