With over 1,000 applications, ST suspensions' wide range of springs is one of the few lowering springs on the market that, in combination with the standard suspension, improve a vehicle's handling. In addition to an appealing lowering, ST suspensions sport springs enable an increase in cornering speed and dynamic driving.

Manufactured in OEM quality from chrome-silicon steel using the cold coiling process, ST suspensions sport springs are multiply tempered and have a final epoxy coating. This allows them to withstand a wide range of weather conditions. Depending on the vehicle model, ST suspensions sport springs can achieve subtle lowerings of, for example, 20 mm at the front and 15 mm at the drive axle on the current BMW M3 (E9x series), an attractive 30 mm on both axles on the Audi A1, or up to 60 mm on the VW Golf I. When ST suspensions sport springs are installed, not only does the vehicle's center of gravity lower compared to the standard suspension, but the driving dynamics also benefit. During strong steering movements, such as evasive maneuvers and fast cornering, body movements are reduced due to the lower roll tendency. Furthermore, compression and rebound are reduced, making the handling more agile.

The spring rates of the ST suspensions sport springs are perfectly harmonized with the tuning of the series dampers. After all, ST suspensions sport springs, in conjunction with the respective vehicle weight, wheel loads, and the level of the intended lowering, have a great influence on the compression and rebound behavior of the series suspension. The ST suspensions sport springs, made of chrome-silicon steel, not only support the vehicle weight but also guarantee a more direct driving experience due to the specially tuned spring rates. Depending on the level of lowering, for example, a reduction of the center of gravity by 20 mm, 30 mm, or 40 mm, ST suspensions sport springs have different spring rates that harmonize with the series dampers. The greater the level of lowering, the higher the spring rate.
