VW Caddy SB rain sensor with automatic wiper retrofit package

Here we provide you with the retrofit package for a very simple retrofitting of the "automatic windshield wiper".

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here carries out the complete automatic activation of the rain automatic with the help of the innovative KECODI APP that is already pre-configured for you.

The unlocking (also known colloquially as "GEKO" / "SFD") as well as the complete activation (= the coding / parameterization and the final deletion of the error memory) is carried out automatically by KECODI in the shortest possible time!

Installation time for vehicles with 9AC heating: approx. 2 hours

Installation time for vehicles with KH6 air conditioning: approx. 30 minutes

Please select the currently installed air conditioning system during the ordering process.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Please note the following information before placing your order:

The retrofitting of the original rain sensor is possible on all VW Caddy SB models of all equipment variants of all years of manufacture with any installed air conditioning system (please select this during the ordering process).

The light switch with the factory-installed "MODE / AUTO" position is always suitable and will not be replaced.

Installation information:

In Caddy SB models with built-in air conditioning with electronic control with PR number: KH6, a fully wired humidity sensor is already installed behind the interior mirror.

In these models, which are already "prepared" at the factory, the currently installed moisture sensor, which is installed behind the interior mirror, is replaced with the rain & moisture sensor supplied here. No cable sets / cable routing are necessary.

In Caddy SB models with built-in heating with electronic control with PR number: 9AC, only a blind cap is installed behind the interior mirror.

In these models, the blind cap is replaced with the sensor and the cable set supplied in this selection is installed. This cable set connects the rain sensor to the on-board power supply control unit, which is installed in the driver's footwell.
