ASR CB2 exhaust flap control – Full control over your exhaust flaps

The ASR CB2 exhaust flap control allows precise control of the exhaust flaps of your Golf 7 R via the driving modes and the ESP button – including a practical SSA memory function . This way, you always maintain control over the sound and character of your vehicle – entirely according to your driving style.

• Golf 7 R (Facelift)

• Golf 7 R (facelift with OPF)

(Not compatible with the Golf 7 R Variant – this model does not have an exhaust flap as standard.)

Features at a glance

Driving mode control (Individual → Engine sound):

• Race: Flaps permanently open

• Normal: Opening from 3000 rpm or 80% accelerator pedal position (just before kickdown)

• Comfort / Eco: Opening from 4500 rpm or 80% accelerator pedal position

Easy Switch (double click ESP):
A double-click of the ESP button opens or closes the flaps independently of the driving profile. The automatic opening function above 4500 rpm remains active.

Series mode / Workshop mode:
Holding the SSA button for 7 seconds deactivates the module – the vehicle behaves as it did in its original factory state. The SSA indicator light confirms activation or deactivation.

SSA Memory:
The start-stop system setting is saved and automatically restored the next time the vehicle is started.

Assembly

Installation is plug and play in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim.
