Description
Flap control CB2 GEN 2 for controlling the exhaust flaps via the driving profiles and the SET button including SSA memory
- VW Golf 8 R (Type CD)
- VW Golf 8 R Performance (Type CD)
With this control unit you have the possibility to control your exhaust flaps via the driving profiles and the ESP button.
Functions at a glance:
Driving profiles:
- Race: flaps permanently open
- Auto/Comfort: Open from 3500rpm / 80% accelerator (shortly before kickdown)
- Efficiency: Open from 4500 rpm / 80% accelerator (shortly before kickdown)
Easy Switch (Set button):
By double-clicking the Set button, the flaps can be opened and closed independently of the Drive Select. The automatic opening at 4500rpm is always retained.
Series mode / workshop mode:
The module is activated or deactivated using a key combination. If the module is deactivated, everything behaves as if no module were installed.
Gearbox S-detection:
As soon as you set the transmission to S, both flaps open. (Function only available with original transmission coding)
SSA memory (available from GEN2):
The setting of the automatic start-stop system is saved and restored after the vehicle is started.

Installation is plug and play in the footwell behind the A-pillar trim (instructions are included in the delivery).
