Description
Significantly enhance your VW Touran 5T with the original rear view camera.
Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera with static guide lines in your VW Touran 5T.
+ Optical display of the live image on the screen as well as the static guide lines
+ Integration of the optical representation of the installed parking aid (PDC sensors) in one image (as ex works)
+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear
After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you.

Installation time: approx. 3 hours
Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).
Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.
Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Navigation High (PR number: 7UG or 7UP, 7UH or 5G1)
Navigation Standard (PR number: 7UF, 7UT)
Composition Media (PR number: I8F in combination with PR number: 9WT or 9S8 or QV3)
Preparation for navigation system (PR number: 7UJ)
NOT suitable for other multimedia systems.
Suitable for all equipment variants with all parking aid systems (rear parking aid PR no. 7X1, front + rear parking aid PR no. 7X2, parking steering assistant PR no. 7X5, without parking aid/PDC sensors PR no.: 7X0).
To retrofit the higher quality original VW Touran 5T Highline rear view camera with dynamic guide lines (= lines in the infotainment system which move depending on the steering angle and thus help you even better with parking assistance) we recommend the rear view camera retrofit package High
