The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (590mm x 225mm x 145mm [stepped] = 16.6L) and thus offers a 30% larger inflow area and 47% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance mesh is a high-quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators. This means that the total weight of the intercooler, despite its size, is only 9.65kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CFD system. This intercooler kit was developed directly for the high demands of the Mini Cooper S JCW. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Completely ready-to-install kit, simply replace with standard intercooler - plug and play. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
