PERFORMANCE INTERCOOLER KIT Ford Focus ST MK4 2.3Ecoboost
Currently not suitable for vehicles with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
The performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (720mm x 201mm x 130mm / stepped) and thus has an external charge air volume of 15.4 liters (OEM 5.5 liters). The newly developed high-performance core (bar and plate) still allows sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light. This gives the intercooler a total weight of only 11.9kg. The cast aluminum end tanks were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal airflow. An air guide integrated into the end tank allows for a homogeneous filling of the competition high-performance core. The intercooler's inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 65mm, which is why this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses.
Overall, this intercooler has significantly less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
Installation is done by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform (see installation instructions). Currently not suitable for vehicles with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
