The high-performance intercooler has the following core dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm = 17.446L), providing a 178% larger frontal area and 158% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance core is a high-quality Tube Fin core with internal turbulators. As a result, despite its size, the intercooler weighs only 9.1kg.
The cast aluminum end tanks were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow using CFD simulations. An air duct integrated into the end tank allows for homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance core. The connection diameters have been increased to Ø67mm, which is why this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has significantly less back pressure than the series intercooler.
In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The completely ready-to-install kit simply replaces the standard intercooler.
Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable. All our products are subject to continuous quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
