The high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm = 17.446L) and thus offers a 178% larger airflow area and 158% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance mesh is a high-quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators. This means that the weight of the intercooler is only 9.1kg, despite its size.
The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal air flow. An air duct integrated in the end box enables homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance network. The connection diameters were increased to Ø67mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard intercooler.
In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The kit is completely ready to install and simply replaces the standard intercooler.
Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Suitable for racing.
