COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT VAG 1.8 - 2.0TSI

The Competition intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm) and thus has 17 liters of external charge air volume (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fine) ensures sufficient air flow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light. The intercooler therefore has a total weight of just 8.9kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal air flow using CFD simulations. An air duct integrated in the end box enables the Competition high-performance mesh to be filled evenly. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 70mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses.

Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.

Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to carry out. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
