Competition INTERCOOLER KIT for GR Yaris 1.6-L Turbo
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler features a new Competition fin core (Tube Fin) with dimensions of
630 mm x 137 mm x 135 mm + 630 mm x 43 mm x 100 mm (stepped core: 14.36 liters), which was specially developed for the requirements of the Toyota GR Yaris. This high-performance core thus offers a 24% larger flow area and 69% more core volume compared to the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end tanks were CAD-designed and optimized using CFD simulations (for ideal internal airflow). The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, the newly developed Competition high-performance core, through the use of a specially manufactured air guide plate, still provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler. Thus, this kit is exactly right for racing. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties protects WAGNERTUNING intercoolers from all environmental influences, guaranteeing a lasting and optimal cooling effect. Installation is done at the original mounting points and is easy to perform (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality control.
Inlet and outlet diameters have been increased to Ø60mm. Therefore, this kit includes reinforced silicone hoses, as well as an aluminum Boost and Charge Pipe.
