COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT VAG 1.8 - 2.0TSI

The Competition intercooler has the following core dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm) and thus has an external intercooler volume of 17 liters (OEM 9 liters). The newly developed Competition high-performance core (Tube Fine) provides sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light. The intercooler thus has a total weight of only 8.9kg. The cast aluminum end tanks were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal airflow. An air duct integrated into the end tank enables homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance core. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 70mm, which is why this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses.

Overall, this intercooler has significantly less back pressure than the series-installed intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.

Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform. All our products are subject to continuous quality monitoring.
