The Audi RS6 and RS7 feature an indirect charge air cooling circuit, where the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. In this vehicle, the intercooler is specifically located in the hot V of the engine. To ensure consistently optimal cooling here, an upgrade of the OEM intercooler is necessary.
Our unique WAGNERTUNING Performance Intercooler was specifically developed to meet the demanding requirements of the RS models. The high-quality cooling net offers an additional 118% more external net volume compared to the series-production intercooler. The ratio between internal and external cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while enabling optimal internal airflow. The end tanks were developed using high-quality cast aluminum through CFD simulations to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal backpressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing. Experience optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
Our Wagner Tuning intercoolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating to ensure lasting durability. The installation of the complete kit is straightforward and Plug & Play thanks to our easy installation instructions.
